Suffolk County Fish and Reef was founded in October of 2003. Headquartered in Ronkonkoma, NY, its founders built the 5000 square foot facility that houses the nearly 20,000 gallons of water and a state-of-the-art filtration room. We strongly believes that customers can buy quality livestock and shop with confidence because of the high-end equipment running all three life-suppport filter systems.

For nearly a decade, our goal has been to help all of our customers to become successful fish hobbyists through a one-stop shopping experience, taking the client from conception to completion. We also fabricate, install, stock, and maintain beautiful freshwater, saltwater, and coral reef aquariums. The Company’s main focus is to create unique and intriguing designs of freshwater, saltwater, and coral reef environments through custom and standard installations.

Shortly after opening, Suffolk County Fish and Reef rolled out its premium aquarium maintenance program. In less than three years, the Company amassed more than three hundred residential, commercial, and institutional clients, maintaining aquariums from the smallest Bio-Cube to custom-built tanks containing hundreds of gallons of water.

Fully licensed and insured, our clients include hospitals, schools, nursing homes, libraries, as well as commercial clients and private residences.

Suffolk County Fish and Reef also builds, maintains, and stocks outdoor water features such as ponds and pondless waterfalls that add value and distinction to any home or business.
